Summary Statement

This paper introduced various “Green” Assessments in China's energy industry, and discussed the similarities and differences between these assessments and traditional EIA.

Abstract

With the rapid development of energy transformation, relevant departments of the Chinese government have issued some "green" Assessments to urge energy enterprises to undergo low-carbon transformation in the energy industry, such as the “Green Mine Assessment”,the “Green Factory Assessment, and the “Green development Assessment”. Compared with current Environmental Impact Assessments, these “Green” Assessment have added more evaluation factors to assess the impact of carbon emissions reduction, energy substitution, and other related aspects.Various "green" assessments measure the carbon emissions reduction of enterprises through different focuses and evaluation institutions, in order to improve the transparency of the impact of enterprises in these aspects.
