Abstract

The new regulatory frameworks in Québec and Canada are redefining environmental impact assessments, transforming stakeholder roles and evaluation structures. These reforms introduce new challenges—processes and training needs—but also create opportunities for innovation, encouraging more adaptive, collaborative, and forward-thinking approaches to environmental evaluation and decision-making.
