The Energy for Development Capacity Building Stipend program supports IA professionals from Norway’s partner countries (Malawi, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Tanzania, and Uganda) in participating in IAIA’s annual conference and training activities. The program aims to strengthen capacity within the impact assessment community in partner countries, with a particular emphasis on practitioners working in energy and renewable energy sectors. By providing access to international training, technical sessions, and global networks, the program equips professionals with current tools and practices and enhances their ability to address national and regional IA challenges.
Recipients travel to IAIA26 to participate in conference sessions, specialized IAIA training courses, and networking activities. They are encouraged to share the knowledge gained with institutions, colleagues, and local networks to support long-term capacity strengthening in their home countries. Up to twenty-five stipends are available.
